About Me (Abbreviated Version)

I am a lecturer at the University of Auckland--at least I will be starting in June 2010.  Until then, I'll be a research fellow at Notre Dame's Center for Philosophy of Religion.  My main area research area is in epistemology, but I do some philosophy of religion on the side.  More about me...

What's New

August 16th, 2010: My "Why Open-Minded People Should Endorse Dogmatism" is now included in the on-line papers.

August 5th, 2010: I changed my contact information finally and updated my CV. The main change in the CV is that it includes two new forthcoming papers. The first, "Why Open-Minded People Should Endorse Dogmatism," is forthcoming in the 2010 issue of Philosophical Perspectives. The second, "Movin' On Up: Higher-Level Requirements and Inferential Justification," is forthcoming in Philosophical Studies.  I hope to get copies of these papers up in the next month or so.  If you'd like a copy in the mean time, feel free to email me.

5/3/10: My "Phenomenal Conservatism and Evidentialism in Religious Epistemology" is now included in the on-line papers.

4/10/10: I've updated my CV. The main change is that it notes that my "When Transmission Fails" is forthcoming in Phil Review.

12/30/09: I finally added some information about my interests in epistemology and philosophy of religion.

12/24/09: I added a more recent version to my CV. It notes that my paper, "Phenomenal Conservatism and Evidentialism in Religious Epistemology," is forthcoming in the volume Evidence and Religious Belief. I hope to add the paper to the Online Papers page soon. The new CV also reflects new work under review (including two papers with R&R status), new presentations, and new referee work.

10/28/09: I added, on the Online Papers page, links to some of my published papers.
